COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The coffee lovers consummate beer. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and imported chocolates and two types of coffee, this stout has an intense fresh-roasted java nose topped with a frothy, cinnamon-colored head that goes forever.

4-pack for 9.49. Pours dark, almost black with a brown head. Looks really good. The smells hits you as soon as you open the bottle - roasted malt, chocolate and coffee, just as advertised. Taste is slightly bitter chocolate with a lasting roasted coffee finish. Body is slightly thinner than I normally like in an imperial stout, but for a beer of this quality I can let it slide This is yet another knock out of the park for Founders.

355ml bottle. Pitch black with one finger brown head. Rich aroma with both roasted and fruity coffee notes, dark chocolate, dark malts, light alcohol and a smooth oatiness. Taste is bitter coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa, dark malts, fruitier coffee notes, light alcohol and a light sweetness from the oats. Smooth but filling mouthfeel, low carbonation and lasting complex chocolate and coffee aftertaste with a nice bitter edge.

Pours black, viscous looking with some tan lacing. Aroma is malts, chocolate and coffee. Surprisingly bitter taste, malts but not roasty, lots of coffee. Long, bitter aftertaste. Above medium body, medium carbonation, oily, slightly thick mouthfeel. Very nice.

Scents of licorice and coffee. Pours dark red-black. Thin tan head and good lacing. Dry sweet tastes of licorice with alcohol notes. Short astringent finish. More than average carbonation for a stout. Quite nice.

From tap at Dunkbar. Pours very dark. The head is very dense and looks delicious. Smells of sweet coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruits. Taste of bitter coffee and dark chocolate. Overall a very good beer that reminds me of cozy sunday mornings.

From Labirratorium. In Teku glass. Playing Broken Sword 5.Lots of delightful coffee here, so much that reminds me KBS. This has a lower ABV (good!) and its body is still great

Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is slightly sweet with similar to the aroma. Bitter finish on this tremendous beer.
