COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Small aroma and thin amber appearance leads to big flavor with strong floral tones and good mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I really enjoyed this IPA. Outstanding floral aroma. Good balance. Without a doubt, one of the best IPA’s that I have tried.

Pours an orangish gold in appearance out of the bottle. Smell is wonderful of very piney hops. The front of the tongue gets treated to a nice nut like sweetness while the back of the tongue gets good balance of bitterness from some grapefruit and spicey hop notes.

Draught at Churchkey. Copper pour with a fair sized head. Nose reminds me of a cross between Union Jack and Two Hearted, with that beautiful apricot sweetness melding with leaner citrus fruit and gorgeous pine and lemongrass. Flavor brings a similarly delightful combination of fresh pink grapefruit, floral crispness, and beautiful evergreen bitterness. An awesome, drinkable, and refreshing IPA.

12 oz bottle in a duvel tulip Pours a nice orange with a finger length white head. Lacing is sticky. Great hop aroma. If you have ever brewed with centennial hops you will recognize it immediately. Very piney. Flavor is of piney hops with a caramel back. Very biting and somewhat citric with a great malt blend. There’s toffee and caramel in there somewhere. Mouthfeel is medium to thin and the flavor resonates. This is a super sessionable beer and the alcohol is invisible. Excellent session IPA

Bottle from Founders brewery. Pours clear amber. Good C-hop aroma and taste. Maybe a little unbalanced in the hoppy direction, but I don’t consider that a bad thing. Biting bitter finish. Nice body with good carbonation.

Pours dark amber, aroma is weak citrus, taste is good bitter and strong citrus. Taste fades quickly. Overall a good average level ipa

An average ipa with average aroma. Very strong grapefruit flavor. Enjoyable not to much for an ipa drinker... to much for most.
