Bottle. Hoppy, bright grapefruit aroma, very clean and crisp. The appearance was a dark honey, darker than other IPA’s I’ve sampled, and the pour was highly carbonated. Lots of loose lacing as I drank. Very flowery, citrus taste with an initially soft palate that yielded to a sticky, sweet aftertaste. A high quality IPA for sure. Draft at Iron Abbey with Ann and Bobby. Pale gold pour with slight head. Nice floral hop aroma. Really let’s the specific hop shine, but falls a little flat after the initial hoppiness. emeinz (220) - Minnesota, USA - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle to glass. Aroma contains tons of citrus. Lots of grapefruit with a little bit of orange zest to it. Golden-Orange pour wither a large white head. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Has some sweetness on the start and a nice manageable bitterness on the finish. Very good overall. An excellent IPA. BayAreaBeers (85) - Fremont, California, USA - JAN 7, 2012
Pours a super light ruby red with a golden hue.
Aroma is citrus with pine with a nice malt sweetness. Just a fantastic smelling beer.
Taste is nice and hoppy with a big sweetness. Pine notes all throughout. A great flavorful beer worth every penny (trade).

Bottle to pint glass. Pours an orange / yellow color with a sparse off white head and great lacing. Smells of great citrus hops flavors & tastes the same. Nice mellow, not overly bitter hop flavors with citrus notes, and floral notes. Really nice.

Great amber color, medium bitterness, doesn’t have a strong alcohol finish but is extremely drinkable kdheckle (24) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 31, 2011

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2011 Draft. Pours copper with a one finger head. Smells of citrus and hoppiness. Taste is a smooth IPA style with an even smoother finish. There is a bit of a dry mouthfeel but nothing atypical of a strong IPA. Great overall. tderoeck (9656) - Gent, BELGIUM - DEC 28, 2011

Little cloudy deep orange to copper red beer, small off-white to yellow head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lychee, cherry liquor, milk chocolate, bonbons, bit dusty, pepper, but ripe sweet fruits are overpowering. MF: light carbon, medium to full body. TAste: citrus fruits, sweet malts, herbal honey, bit sugary, lychee, peaches, cocoa powder. Aftertaste: citrus, bitter hops.Very dry long lasting bitter ending. Really good stuff.
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2012 The aroma is hops, underlying malts and some citrus and earthiness. The flavor is relatively balanced between the hops and malts, although it does lean towards the hops. Among the easiest drinking IPAs out there, a very solid IPA overall.
