Bottle/12oz - Pours a darkish orange amber in color with a medium white head that settled to a thin covering over the top of the beer and produced some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is slightly sweet with plenty of caramel malts and some bready yeasts. The star is, of course the citrus/grapefruit and milder of pine resin hops. Flavor is hoppy, but not nearly as bitter as I expected from the aroma. Nice hop flavor... lingering mild bitterness into the end... extremely well balanced. Love it... bpr77 (264) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JAN 21, 2012
Amber-copper color. Aroma of malty sweetness, citrus- orange , some apircot and bready. Flavor is malty and smooth up front and finish is bitter grapefruit and some pine notes. Nice ipa not a favorite but still very nice djd07 (16307) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 20, 2012

(Bottle) Pours dark amber with a creamy off-white head. The aroma is of pink grapefruity and resinous woodsy hops. Sticky malt backdrop alongside a hint of frozen strawberries. The flavour is light to medium sweet, medium to heavily bitter and light acidic. Soapy, citric, woodsy, resinous, earthy and light toasted caramelly. The mouthfeel is round and tart (from the hops) with a light to medium carbonation. Lingering finish. Medium bodied. Mhyzdu (11) - - JAN 14, 2012

Bottle. Hoppy, bright grapefruit aroma, very clean and crisp. The appearance was a dark honey, darker than other IPA’s I’ve sampled, and the pour was highly carbonated. Lots of loose lacing as I drank. Very flowery, citrus taste with an initially soft palate that yielded to a sticky, sweet aftertaste. A high quality IPA for sure. Draft at Iron Abbey with Ann and Bobby. Pale gold pour with slight head. Nice floral hop aroma. Really let’s the specific hop shine, but falls a little flat after the initial hoppiness. emeinz (224) - Minnesota, USA - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle to glass. Aroma contains tons of citrus. Lots of grapefruit with a little bit of orange zest to it. Golden-Orange pour wither a large white head. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Has some sweetness on the start and a nice manageable bitterness on the finish. Very good overall. An excellent IPA.
