Very nicely balanced, hoppy and floral aroma and flavor with hints of citrus and a touch of sweetness. This is one I would definitely have again.

A vigorous pour into my favorite snifter leaves a a cloudy gold/orange color with a thick, cloud-like head. The aroma is mildly sweet and floral. There are both floral and citrus notes in the flavor, and although it is fairly well-balanced, the hop bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is bright and refreshing despite the big, bitter flavor. Overall, a solid IPA.

Pours a slightly cloudy orange Into a Duvel Tulip. There was an inch foamy head, that slowly made its way down to about a quarter inch head that stayed all the way down. There were rings of lacing that followed the head as I sipped. The scent was perfect for an IPA, very hoppy and spicy with some piney notes. A slightly sweet citrusy taste up front is balanced off nicely by a very nice bitter finish. There is about as good of a balance as one would want with an IPA. This is nice IPA, I only wish I bought more than 1 in a mix pack. I should have known it would be great coming from Founders.

Pours amber with a medium white head. Nose is typical floral hops and sweet malt but fairly weak for an IPA. Flavor is substantially more full and is mostly malt on the front and biting hops on the back (well balanced overall). Finish is long and sticky and keeps the hops rolling. Good stuff.

Amber color, subtle floral/citrus aroma, nice balance of bitter and citrus flavor. A bit of caramel sweet and some pine. This is a nice IP, its not too hoppy. Thanks for the trade JB..

From the Bottle at Chris Os pre GBBF tasting, Kensal Rise 31/07/2010 Fruity hop aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a pine flavour. A hint of dryness in a bitter malt finish.

On tap: Pours a dark golden with a modest white head that dissipates quickly. Smells like floral hops as youd expect.Tastes slightly bitter, lightly carbonated. Flavor is floral hops, light caramel malt, a little bitter on the finish. Damn fine

Aroma: Floral, cut grass, citrus/grapefruit rind. Palate: Smooth Flavor: Starts with Malty orange and bitter grapefruit rind and finishes with the same plus some grassy hop flavors. Comments: Good balance of med-full bodied malt and bitter hops in the flavors. The initially smooth mouth feel holds through the mid-palate and then it finishes dry. Nearly an Imperial IPA but more restrained and the better for it. 38-39 score range. Perhaps the flavor is an 8.

This beer is delicious. It has a great initial taste and the aftertaste is also very good. I have tried other beers from this brewery and they seem to have really high quality!

355ml bottle. Pours a deep amber with a mild haze and effervescence. A big & bubbly beige head sits atop that takes a while to reduce and never fully dissipates, the remnants leaving a scattered lacing. Lots of those juicy centennials - grapefruit, pine and tangerine all over. The grapefruit and pine come through well on the palate with a peachy/strawberry sweetness. A nice malty nuttiness underpins all the hops. Moderately crisp, medium body & carbonation and a balanced, playful, rounded finish - not too much of any one quality
