Brassy amber with a decent frothy head. Zesty Centennial hop nose of grapefruit and spicy floral character with a touch of dankness. The body is delightfully spicy, dank, and characterized by fruity and floral hops. Nice Crystal malt backbone shines through. Some woody notes arise from the background. Solid IPA.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is bready malt, fruity hops, strong citrus, orange, pine resin, mild caramel with a touch of grapefruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Firm citrussy and piney hops, lots of orange with a sturdy caramel malt backbone, good bittersweet flavour. Lovely IPA.

On Tap at the Prefunk Founders tap takeover Classic deep golden. Big pithy citrus aromas and flavors. Rather harsh and soapy. Papery and bitter. Agressive.

Bottle. Shaker. Nice deep amber, medium hazy with small to moderate, dirty white head. Moderate head retention and poor lacing. Moderately to heavy hoppy aroma - mainly citrus (oranges), quite fresh. Balanced with moderate malty notes - pale, biscuits, caramel. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, finish is bitter, citrus and fresh.

A nice dark amber/orange hued beer with a creamy head. Well-balanced aroma, plenty of citrus peel but with enough malts to even the playing field. Good spicy hops, hints of pepper and bubble gum with a light bitter follow. How did I wait so long to try this lovely beer?

Pours a glowing red-amber with a slight, dissipating head, and the nose gives up modest notes of floral-pine hops with a undertone of citrus and herb. Starts unexpectedly malty for such a hop-forward IPA, offering orange-caramel and biscuit with a tiny bit of a toasted undertone. Grows bitter and resinous quickly as mango-marmalade hops transform into a lengthy IBU-slathered finish. Fades dry and piney, lingering yet tasty. Not great, but solidly drinkable.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2017 (12oz bottle) AROMA: hops and hops, citrus, floral/perfume, musk and caramel, some green, underlying sweetness, taffy, fruit/vanilla. APPEARANCE: Orange/copper Amber, nook and cranny off-white head, a tad cloudy, visible carbonation, head does recede relatively quickly, leaving residual oily foam/film. TASTE: some sweetness, some citrus tartness, clove/cinnamon, spice, smokey malt, both burnt toast bitter and hop bitter, dry finish, citrus rind. PALATE: solid medium body, well balanced, sparkly and fresh upfront, little oily, then dry. OVERALL: darn good. I especially like the balance of malt and hops. Decent hoppiness, but not too much to hide/overpower everything else. Enjoyable complexity. Cant go wrong serving this.
