COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Had on draft in a pint glass. Poured a slightly hazy medium copper with a one finger off-white head. Moderate head retention and lacing. Aroma has lots of citrus mixed with some light pine. Quite floral actually. Nice bready malt is detectable as well as some caramel. Flavor is pine/citrus with a healthy dose of caramel and toast. Nearly perfect balance between malt and hops with neither one overpowering the other. Bitterness is moderate and quite smooth never becoming harsh. Very drinkable and truly one of the benchmark IPA’s.

Todella makea, humalointi yllättävän kevyttä. Karvas, maltainen, ipaksi outo mutta kivasti juotava.

Pours up a medium amber color sporting a tan head. Floral and malty aroma. Laid back hop balance with a sweet caramel malt body and slight bitter finish. Definitely a distinctive take on the style that is different from either of the coastal versions.

Great floral nose with some peppery spice. Earthy hop bill. Not very rindy. Pours light amber. Nice mild caramel malt backbone. Very clean.

This beer was good enough it made me want to find the brew master and give him a noogie on his head and say "at'a boy". ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle purchased at Mount Royal in Duluth. Pint glass. Slightly more of an amber and deep orange hue with an off white head. Lacing is strong. Malty and caramel on the nose with traditional pine notes. Taste carries the aromatic characteristics through with a malt forward approach. Hops are present with a little citrus and pine. Finish leans on the hop elements. Decent if unspectacular IPA.

Clean, dark amber color with a dense head of creamy off-white foam. Very malty upfront with enough on the hop end to balance it out. A good IPA no doubt but in terms of personal preferences my bias leads me out of enjoying this one completely. I’m find more appeal in an IPA that lets the Hops shine through instead of land at a stalemate with the grain bill.

335 ml can from Kill The Cat, Brick Lane, London, UK. It pours orange/amber, with a nice, frothy, white head. Aroma is pine, herbs, malts, orange, tangerine, light notes of caramel. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium to full, carbonation is average. Overall lovely.

El aroma es bueno, seminario robusta, no es lo que puedo esperar de una IPA, no hay tanto aromas resinozos, estoy tan acostumbrado a las IPAs de San Diego o Tijuana que siempre las comparo con las demás que no son de ahí

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque amber/orange beer with a slight/medium off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Have to say I miss a lot of pine flavour for a single hop centennial IPA. The malts are the most dominant flavour here, such a shame. Great appearance and palate however.
