COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Poured out of a bottle into a pint glass. Rust colored with a nice inch of white head. I could smell the citrus while I was pouring it with my nose at least a foot away. On closer inspection, lots of grapefruit, actually that’s all I could get out of it. Taste: Hoppy hops. Bitter. Good. Sharp and crisp on the tip of the tongue. Moderate carbonation. It seems to soften out at the end. Good IPA. I could drink this all day long. Good solid flavor and smell.

330 ml bottle. The pour is a hazy golden amber, with a good head of white froth. Aromas released are nicely balanced hop aromas with pine, floral and citrus fruit notes. Taste is also well balanced, sweetness of the malts and fruity notes, balanced with pine, resin, and ending with bitterness, although not overly intense, despite the high IBU rating. The carbonation is average, and helps to enhance the medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, a nice, well balanced package, sets a standard for IPAs!

Pours a small fizzy bubbly head and has a coppery appearance, slightly dark amber. Aromas are mainly floral and resin hops. A bit of toasts, malts and nuts. Sweet and strong hoppy flavours, floral and citrus hops mainly. Faint nutty notes and hints of caramel. Fairly bitter on the palate and in the finish but balanced well with sweetness. Not bad, just doesn’t really stand out from other ipa’s I’ve had lately.

Dark amber, tight head. Quite malty, some citrus and pine but the standout is the floral. Hint of ederflower

Todella makea, humalointi yllättävän kevyttä. Karvas, maltainen, ipaksi outo mutta kivasti juotava.

Pours up a medium amber color sporting a tan head. Floral and malty aroma. Laid back hop balance with a sweet caramel malt body and slight bitter finish. Definitely a distinctive take on the style that is different from either of the coastal versions.
