Bottle from the LCBO BB 22.03.2015. Clear orange amber colour with off white head. Smells malty, floral, toasted malt, orange rind, bread. Same notes come through on the taste. Nice bitter finish. Decent, but I was expecting better. Maybe need a fresher beer.

Bottled 03.01.17. A: Grapefruit, pineapple, and caramel. It sure smells like an old school IPA. A: See through dark amber body. T: Follows the nose with added pine. P: Nicely crisp and bubbly, with resin on the back end. O: Its a pretty solid, well balanced, old school IPA.

Cans left over from grandmas 90th birthday party- nice caramel color with good carbonation. Grassy and earthy notes; great nose. Hoppiness right away but mixed with slight sweetness. Then a flood of welcome bitterness.

Its a pretty solid IPA. It pours a beautiful Amber color with a nice head. It has a pleasant hop aroma and it doesnt finish too bitterly. The Hops are flavorful without being too annoying. Its a little light, but it it good.

12floz bottle, BOD 12.30.2016, $1.50 as a single (Ive had prior), poured into a pint glass. Appears a good lookin medium-amber with a clingy head. Nose doesnt punch you in the face like many American IPAs, just a pleasant bouquet of orange, grapefruit, and pineapple. This beer is all about balance; bitter-sweet, medium-full body, and satisfying. Blood orange and slightly burnt biscuit flavors make this a versatile beer that defines the style.

Al club de tast de lOlut, comparaci de la frescor duna Ipa nova amb una antiga. El nostre paladar encara no est acostumat a la frescor i pensem en les IPA velles que no arriben en perfectes condicions de consum.

From Saveur-Biere. In Teku glass. Playing Darksiders 2. Very oily, with an amazing resinous taste, feeling and aroma that makes you want to enjoy it slowly, sip by sip. A shame when finishes.

12oz bottle poured at home. Beer was a gift - bottle dated 10/26/16. I would assume the aroma has faded with the age of the bottle - but still a very tasty easy drinking IPA

Somehow I failed to rate this although Ive been drinking it occasionally for years. Not my favorite because of the mildly bitter finish, but a good change from all the Lagunitas Sucks I customarily drink. Can into a Belgian ale glass, nice amber color with a lot of foam which recedes to a persistent thin white covering. Very attractive in the glass. Aroma is complex, malty, floral, citrus-y. The flavor is mild sweet malt, pine, some citrus and spice. It is complicated but very well balanced and enjoyable. Pretty classic left-coast style IPA.
