COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Founders flagship beer. Dirty Bastard is an absolute beautiful beer to behold. Dark ruby in color and brewed with ten varieties of imported malts this beer continuously lives up to its reputation as a bold and powerful ale. Dirty Bastard is complex in the finish with hints of smoke and peat paired with a malty richness, finalized with a good bit of hop attitude. This beer “ain’t fer the wee lads”

NosirIwont (2591) - Husum, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2011
Bottle. Pours hazy ruby brown with a small and diminishing beige head. Quite sweet aroma with notes of dried fruits and bread. Remote overtone of alcohol. Cloying. Notes of damp basement as it warms. Flavour is sweet and a bit tart with dried fruits and malt. Tart, sweet and quite bitter finish. Lingering grassy notes. Overall a fine beer, but too cloying for my taste. 04.01.11.

Bif (2344) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - JAN 2, 2011
Bottle- Pours a slightly hazy chestnut color with a very small off-white head that fades to lacing. Has a dark fruit and malt aroma with traces of spice and sweetness. Very subtle hint of alcohol, not overpowering. Taste is a mixture of dark fruit and alcohol with some malt and a touch of spicy sweetness. Medium body, very smooth and quite creamy. Has a pleasant warming feeling. Great sipping brew on a cold winter night. Good example of the style.

3.4
Habanero (4848) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2011

badwhale (420) - Bitterville, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Pours a reddish brown, with little head, and not much lacing. Smells faintly of whiskey, or scotch, and beer. Has a dry scotch taste, mixed with some maltiness. Not much hops going on. Pretty good. Leaves a kinda watery mouthfeel.

IluvatarMilan (309) - Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2010
Bottle @ EODT10 Pours a rich murky brown, opaque body with a creamy, light brown head. Intense aroma of pine, strong hops, liquor and potent dark malts. Very promising. Taste is incredible, the aroma’s above return in the taste but are quickly overpowered by a rich, broad palate of medium bitter hops, caramel, toffee, cream. Like a brown variety of imperial stout. Great balance between smoothness, piney hops and bitterness.

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 29, 2010
Bottle @ EODT’10: Light yellow beige foamy head on top of a cloudy dark orange to brown beer. Smell is a very balanced mix of oatmeal, caramel, toffee, liquorice, milk chocolate, liquor, malts and cookie. Taste is a big wow! A very well bitter sweet balanced mix of toasted/roasted malts, hints of coffee and liquorice, caramel, brown sugars, toffee and hints of dark fruit and hops. Light grassy, full spiced dark fruity malt mix in the aftertaste. Low carbo, full body and soft mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours dark ruby with thin head. Aroma of berries. Strong alcohol sweeps into the nostrils upon first sip. Taste of malt and some licorice. Smoke evident. Delicious offering and another winner from Founders.
