COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here you have what could be the first malt liquor worthy of a glass. Typically a slighted style, we thought we would class it up with a stay in the wood and a healthy dose of dry-hopping. A huge hit of corn gives this one a smooth sweetness while its time spent aging in bourbon barrels will give you reason to share. Be warned: this one’s a pry-off, not a twist-off.

From Boxbeers. In Teku glass. Playing Cally's Caves 3. Huge abv surprisingly well hidden, with soft bourbon and wood notes much more balanced than usual in bourbon beers and some nice sweetness

2/XII/17 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2017-2050) Thanks to the Belgian, Dutch and German ratebeerians for sharing today's beers!

Clear pale yellow to orange beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, dissipates immediately. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of alcohol, sugary, some caramel, sweetish, alcohol, malty, grains, lots of bourbon, more bourbon. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, bourbon, caramel, bit malty.

vinivini (3245) - Gomel, BELARUS - FEB 8, 2018
Bottle. Clear golden pour. White head. Aroma: massive pale malts, oak, bourbon. Full body. Sweet malty taste. Barrel notes. The ending is somewhat harsh combining alcohol and tanins. Not the worst beer ever. Not the best founders offer by far.

3.7
trapped (3864) - New York, TURKEY - FEB 6, 2018
Bottle. Pours clear rich amber with small creamy/foamy white head, bourbon aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly sweet woodsy taste with strong bourbon, smooth body with a bit of a throat burn on the way down, long woodsy bourbon finish. Very nice, to be consumed by sipping though!

3.5
pentaz (1305) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 4, 2018
@Taphouse. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is distinct bourbon, caramel , dried fruit, corn and marzipan. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter. Body is full, texture is syrupy, carbonation is low. Finishes sweet and boozy with lots of bourbon. The sweetness is somewhat kept in line and does not get cloying - it worked out better than expected.
