bottle, from Sam’s, Great aroma, alot going on, apricot/peach, grass, lemon/grapefruit, honey. Clean orangy gold color, ok head & lacing. Bitter sweet flavor, More citric than sweet. Medium body, oily creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Tasty IIPA, Aroma was best part, could sniff it all day, just kept getting all the mentioned scents the whole time, lucious CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 29, 2009
Growler sample: Pours a transparent deep golden with a stringy, clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh resiny grapefruity hops and sweet pale malts. Body starts with good fullness and sweet sticky malts with a nice fresh sticky grapefruity hoppiness. Finishes with good bittersweetness and flavoring hops with some lingering grassy bitterness. sirpsycho (393) - Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 28, 2009
Bottle. Pours a clear amber, light beige head. Aroma is sweet hops, touch of citrus. Flavor is a nice blend of sweet malt, hops and citrus notes. Bitter and sweet on the finish. Solid IIPA. EHopper (620) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 28, 2009
Very good. Very bright with butterscotch and bitter, following a nice citrus, especially grapefruit aroma. Easy to find and not too expensive so need to make a point of picking some up another time.

12 oz bottle. Was Interested in this after having Founders Centennial IPA, so an I-IPA is even more interesting to me. Pours a beautiful hazy light golden color with a small white head that dies quickly. Smells of citrus (lemon or grapefruit I believe), and some hops. Tastes of some citrus and light hops, bit of caramel; not too much flavor to this one though. Not that full-bodied, but does leave a citrus aftertaste. Decent, not great. For the price equivalence, Hopslam is much better. Arayaga2 (2197) - portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 26, 2009
Hazy headless orange/yellow. Aroma is citrus and pith, but not too strong. Taste is pithy and resinous which lingers well after the finish. Solid IIPA, but not astounding. $3/12oz Drake (13724) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 24, 2009

Taste is toffee, caramel, citrus hops. Full bodied. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 24, 2009
My Million Beer March Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to nearbeer. Clear yellow orange with a thin white cover. Big spicy grapefruit hop aroma. Taste is the same, grapefruit, light pine spice and a perfect caramel base. BustedFlat (554) - Edina, Minnesota, USA - MAR 23, 2009
Poured pale yellow with a white head. Pine hops and grapefruit aroma. Alcohol burn right up front, but it mellows as you go along. Sweet to start with some grapefruit and malt and the bitterness becomes more apparent as it warms. I am not usually a big fan of IPA’s, but this one is very good.
