From notes. This one was enjoyed at the MGB Summer Beer Fest 2017. The pour is a foggier golden yellow with a large white head that lingers forever, dropping serious lace on the glass when it does recede. The aroma is full of wet wheat and a strong graininess. There is a light lemongrass with it, but it’s full of wheat and a spicy grain. There is a touch of hop toward the back, but it’s not enough. The flavor mimics this. The wheat is heavy and dominant with a lightly spicy hop and a hint of lemongrass toward the back end. It’s decent, but wheats aren’t my thing. The mouth feel is watery and light with a brighter carbonation and a lingering wet grain and spicy finish. I want to like it, but it’s tough. 6 4 6 3 13
