12 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. Nose is funky and weird. Hops and light shirt funk, staleness, not sure what this is all about. Palate is full and lighty syrupy. Flavors of stale shirt hops, dried light fruit notes.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2009 12oz bottle, dated 9/23/09, from grape & gourmet. glad to finally try this one uber-fresh. aroma is fantastically fruity with huge citrus notes of tangerine, orange marmalade, and pink grapefruit with notes of honeydew melon, peach, tulip, ginger petals, and fresh spruce. flavor is delicious as well with huge, juicy, fruity, hop notes of orange, pink grapefruit, melon, tangerine, apricot, and pineapple tamed by spicy pine, white pepper, and light, biscuity, caramel malts. crisp, bright, bitter palate with great carbonation and amazing drinkability. this one is a definite great beer when fresh. oustanding.

An explosion of hops in the aroma and the flavor. Sticky, resinous and extremely fruity and citrusy, this ipa is very flavorful. The pour is light amber and the finish is slightly bitter. A very good ipa.

gold colour with a medium white head. Aroma is strong pine and citrus hop combo. Flavour is earthy herbal pine hop. Some kind of funky hook too. ( i want to say wet wool, but how do I know what wet wool really tastes like?) Interesting.

Happy harvest! I continue to enjoy wet-hopped ales. This one had a very hop heavy bite with nice citrus flavors.

Bottle pours orange color with thick white head that laces the glass as you drink it. Aroma is apricot, orange, and citrus melody. Opulent mouthfeel. Flavor is pleasing citrus, orange and apricot with a touch of lemon. Finishes semi-dry. This is a smooth IPA and really good beer.

Pours bright golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Notes of dank hop resin, sour citrus, mango, and sweet pine. Full bodied with thick resins and lively carbonation. A nice and fresh IPA.

Maudite Glass: Nice golden/orange color. Pillowy, lasting, head. Big hop aroma(pine, citric),with dry bready malt slightly showing.Creamy, with nice texture. Mouth load of pine, spicy, hops and underlying malt. Finish is more pine and spicy, hops with bread. Leaves a very satisfying green, fresh hop linger. Shame the glass empties. Put together well and tasty IMO.

Hopper (827) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - OCT 15, 2009
An orange color beer with a small fast dissipating head. The aroma is wonderful with lots of fruit, citrus, & pine, & reminds me somewhat of Pliny. The taste is passion fruit, nice fruity piney hops. I love smelling beers like these & want one in my fridge all the time & its a shame we cant get Founders here. One of the best IPAs Ive tried.
