COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This liquid dream pours a hazy golden orange straw color with a large puffy white two-finger head. First sip of this beer rewards with a super juicy hop presence bursting with fresh orange and lemon citrus then continues to introduce toasted malt undertones.

Very very good harvest ale.Pours a orangish color. Aroma of citrus and hops. Very good, this was my growler of choice for this particular founders trip.

not surprised that founders has outdone them selves again. Beautiful floral aromas, and a hint of toasty vanilla, and citrus on the palate

Absolutely delicious. Presence of the hops is green and juicy, and backbone of the malt is just right. No other IPA I’ve had from the bottle has tasted so fresh.

Hazy golden color with a white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of resinous and fruity hops. Flavor of resinous hops, grapefruit and other fruits. Pretty good.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. Nose is funky and weird. Hops and light shirt funk, staleness, not sure what this is all about. Palate is full and lighty syrupy. Flavors of stale shirt hops, dried light fruit notes.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2009 12oz bottle, dated 9/23/09, from grape & gourmet. glad to finally try this one uber-fresh. aroma is fantastically fruity with huge citrus notes of tangerine, orange marmalade, and pink grapefruit with notes of honeydew melon, peach, tulip, ginger petals, and fresh spruce. flavor is delicious as well with huge, juicy, fruity, hop notes of orange, pink grapefruit, melon, tangerine, apricot, and pineapple tamed by spicy pine, white pepper, and light, biscuity, caramel malts. crisp, bright, bitter palate with great carbonation and amazing drinkability. this one is a definite great beer when fresh. oustanding.

An explosion of hops in the aroma and the flavor. Sticky, resinous and extremely fruity and citrusy, this ipa is very flavorful. The pour is light amber and the finish is slightly bitter. A very good ipa.

From a bottle poured straw color with a good amount of head. Nice fresh hoppy flavor with a lasting finish.

gold colour with a medium white head. Aroma is strong pine and citrus hop combo. Flavour is earthy herbal pine hop. Some kind of funky hook too. ( i want to say wet wool, but how do I know what wet wool really tastes like?) Interesting.

Happy harvest! I continue to enjoy wet-hopped ales. This one had a very hop heavy bite with nice citrus flavors.
