tap. Amber with small head. Light malt and big hops, but unfortunately, I really don’t dig the flavor of these hops. b3shine (9027) - Indiana, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Draft to taster at Founders. Looks good; a mostly transparent orange with thin white lacing. Smells and tastes of Nugget hops with an average mouthfeel. Drinks more like an APA than an IPA. bwa5879 (949) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Really cloudy pale orange with thin layer off white head. Semi harsh citrus hop aroma and floral aromatics, somewhat light on scent. Slightly above average carbonation, full bodied, viscous mouthfeel. Surprisingly clean finish. Flavors of soft bready and crystal malt mixed with bitter piney, reinous astringent hops. Some creamy raspberry flavor thrown in too? A little bitter on finish. Not my favorite. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 8, 2013
On tap at the source... Pours a mostly transparent apple cider pour, homogenous throughout and topped with a soapy white head...Earthy notes of citrus and mild grass. Less floral than what the flavor promotes. ... Floral hops abound upfront with a milder citrus note through the middle before giving way to a bigger bitter brooding finish. Medium bodied of just there above and paired with a prickly sense of carbonation. bigtaster (1004) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 3, 2013
On tap at founders tap room, bartender said is was an almost double ipa hopped exclusively with nugget hops. Clear copper yellow color frothy off white head. Nose is tropical fruit, pineapple, resin. Pine hops immediately, with more subtle fruit notes and some vegetable flavors. Medium body. Really tasty, like drinking hops. One of the better IPA’s I’ve had from founders.
