A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of alcohol, while the flavor is very sweet with strong notes of roasted malt besides a strong alcohol presence. The body is very thick - almost like syrup. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2006

Bottled, thanks Baggio! Very black, pale brown head. Tarry licorice attack my nostrils. Mid-sweet with rock solid body. Bold and licorice-harsh, never alcoholic. Some chocolate lures behind. Finishes with powerful tarry bitterness. All about power and big flavours. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2012
