Bottle as shown. Pours a very dark brown with medium tan head that lasts awhile leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. Medium mouthfeel with a chocolate roast and light smoke in the finish. Easy to drink, hiding alcohol well, a very good imperial stout from Founders. bhensonb (16122) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 10, 2009
Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours quite black with a very thin dark tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate and mild burnt toast. Very full bodied with mild, mild carbonation. Flavor is really chocolate, followed by coffee, and the bitter seems supplied by burnt malt. Finishes really smooth, mostly dry and rather astringent. Heat is very well hidden. This is a really good IS. MiP (16083) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2016
