COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This one is near and dear to our hearts. Brewmaster Jeremy Kosmicki wanted to make the birthday of his little sister, Liz, a special one. So he did what he does best and brewed a stout using a few of her favorite ingredients: fresh Michigan blueberries, rich chocolate and vanilla aged in bourbon barrels to round out those beautiful flavors. Liz was floored and we think you will be too.

2/XII/17 - on tap @ Billies Craft Beer Festival - BB: n/a (2017-2060) Thanks to the Belgian, Dutch and German ratebeerians for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: very boozy, lots of jam, vanilla, sweetish impression, some crème brûlée, roast, lovely stuff! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, lots and lots of raspberry jam, bit sourish, lovely stuff! Aftertaste: alcohol, soft roast, bit sweet, fruity, nice stuff!

Tap at Craft Bier Bar. Jet black colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of maple sirup, pancake, vanilla, signs of Bourbon BA. Taste is sweet with minimally artificial floral- and fruitiness, hints of hundreds and thousands, hints of raspberry and cherry, sherbet-like fruitiness without prickling effect. Too sweet, too squiggly.

Medium body and very smooth on the tongue. Soft sweet aromas, great rick chocolate and mildly tart berry flavors. Really delicious.

12/28/2016 -- from notes: 750ml bottle, shared with Steph, Joanne & Tyler over some post-dinner ice cream & a game of euchre. Black color, with a good thin brown head, good lace and head retention. Kind of a heavier, odd blueberry flavor up front.. Less subtle and well-integrated than I hoped; sweeter than I hoped. Kind of bigger sweet, additions are a little blunt. Thinner bodied for an imperial stout. Blueberry comes off like flavored medicine. sort of slick texture. Disappointed.
