COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mosaic Promise showcases two unique ingredients: Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt. The versatility of the hop’s pleasing aroma and flavor characteristics and the traditional barley’s depth of flavor comprise this clean, rich, golden beer. We can brew complex beers with the best of them, but we recognize that there is also beauty in simplicity.

Tap @Ølfestival 2017. Pours hazy yellow with a large, staying creamy white head. Aroma has dusty malts, a bit of cheese, grapefruit, light petroleum. Low carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, doughy, light grainy. The hops add nice bitterness, but don’t feel all that fresh. Typical notes from Mosaic. Good bitterness.

Appearance: clear pale gold with one finger of fluffy white head, good retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: citrus, floral, pale malt, cardboard. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry lingering bitter finish. (3/5) Another elderly one, and unfortunately the age is showing. I’m getting a little cardboard on the nose, that I’m sure doesn’t belong there. Taste-wise it’s largely unaffected though. I’m sure it’s much better fresher. (14/20) 14/10 #ryansbooze ryansbooze.com

Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours hazy lemon straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with notes of fruit and touches of yeast. Intense, bitter flavour of hops and grass, with notes of malt and yeast and some fruity hints. Lingering, bitter and grassy aftertaste with estery hints. High carbonation. Simple and clean. What’s not to like?

From Labirratorium. In Teku glass. Reading JHTP Ch36. Very citrusy, lemony and bitter, with grassy notes and a really pleasant zesty feeling. 2 months after bb date and still great.
