COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mosaic Promise showcases two unique ingredients: Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt. The versatility of the hop’s pleasing aroma and flavor characteristics and the traditional barley’s depth of flavor comprise this clean, rich, golden beer. We can brew complex beers with the best of them, but we recognize that there is also beauty in simplicity.

A little over fresh but here I go. Into a tulip at just on chilled. Pale, misty, pastel yellow with fine conditioning and a little sediment aught in suspension. Creamy, white as white, high sheened crown holds aloft and laces well. Like a flower garden on the nose. Hop heaven and displaying the Mosaic hop wonderfully with notes of mandarin, pear and peach, eucalypt and bay leaf, with ample raw plumage and pot pourri. Bitter, whole hops on the palate. Wonderfully fresh and rough given it is already a few months over date. Just hops, hops, hops. Esters of the nose wonderfully balanced amongst the floral and herbal notes. Dusty, pilsner-like malt comes through, quite fresh and sunny. Moderately bitter, again the hops are the gift. Lightly vinous with a tang of lime and mandarin. Dry overall but juicy and balanced to the nines. This is ridiculously sessionable. Geez, I’d fail to think how great this is fresh. Wonderful stuff!!! Shocking at the initial nose, very strong mushroomy herbal woody - almost everything I hate about certain kinds of hops, maybe I dont like mosaic...but after a couple of seconds it changed quite a bit, I adapted...it was just such a shock to the senses. It feels a little more tropical fruity, little bit of mango, quite a bit of sweatsock actually, very fruity. Its still weird, very unique, can’t quite place it. Just an unusual hop and I have nothing to compare it to. Flavor is similar, layers of resin, indistinct tropical fruit borders into the mango/papaya type, but also that strong herbal/woody bitterness right there with it. I like the way the malts are included, just a very light clean breadiness. Perfect balance between malt and hops, I just don’t love the hop! Forgetting for a moment that I’m watching a bald eagle fly in the distance, its just about a perfectly constructed IPA.

Yellow-gold with a fine white head -inhabited by a fair number of sea monkeys. Nice pine and citrus aroma. Hops dominate the flavor. A touch thin. All around an okay IPA.

PapaVillum (956) - Valby, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2017
Yderligere point for flot etiket design! 355 ml, flaske, 5.5 % ABV, BB: 07/01/17, købt i Meny i Rotunden i Hellerup. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden pour with a white two finger head that leaves adequate lacing. Foral hop aroma. Taste is smooth and hoppy. Piney and citrus hops explode on the taste buds. Palate is medium to full. Overall, a great beer, well balanced. Will definitely get again.
