chocolate, roasty, toast, coffee, brown, very bitter, full body, A pretty thick slightly creamy stout, really enjoy this. smroush (309) - Michigan, USA - APR 25, 2015
Aromas of roasted coffee and a touch of molasses. Hops just add some generic bitterness. Some smoke, burnt, tar, charcoal flavors.
Has a large off-white to light brown head. Beer is a dark, very close to black color.
Somewhat on the sweet side; moderate bitterness.
Pretty full bodied; distinctly creamy texture from the nitrogen; average carbonation; fairly long finish with roasted flavors.
Overall a fairly good stout. I like the variety of roasted malt aromas with the coffee, molasses and hints of smoke, tar and charcoal. adasko (2233) - Poznan, POLAND - APR 7, 2015

on tap at The Distillery in Savannah GA - aroma = coffee. Super dark color. Good but dry. coachd (971) - Missouri, USA - MAR 6, 2015
Insanely drinkable and pretty to look at. Not crazy sweet like many oatmeal stouts. Has more substance and a better palate than one would expect from such a sessionable beer. jeremyh70 (1115) - Missouri, USA - MAR 5, 2015
On tap at Conrads. An almost opaque brown with a very creamy and well sustaining head with excellent lacing. Aroma has a light sweetness with oats, light roast and a little cocoa. Taste follows the nose with light roastiness and oats with a cocoa dusted nuttiness and very mild roasted bitterness. Finished mostly dry. Mouthfeel semi creamy with a medium body and soft nitro carbonation. Solid and sessionable with simple but satisfying flavor. DrunkSanta410 (987) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - FEB 21, 2015
Tap at Downhouse. Pours black, nice khaki nitro head. Aroma of Malts, milk chocolate, light black coffee. Taste is malty, creamy coffee, milk chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel. Nice offering barbarino2000 (108) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - FEB 17, 2015
One of the better oatmeal stouts I've had. The perfect amount of everything. Founders hits the mark yet again.
