My bottle may have been aged a bit because I didn’t get much if any hops in the nose. It poured pale golden with no head which left little lace on the glass. Moderately hoppy and drinks easy. A nice session from Founders but not their best effort. Radek Kliber (7501) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - MAY 25, 2010

Aroma straight hop presence, lighter nose that was somewhat disappointing.
Appearance chill haze? , golden with mid light top , bit rocky and uneven.3-
Flavor and Palate :more life in body , good blend between malt and hops. Clear , refreshing ending (hop oriented). Expected more depth from Founders.
Draft at The Haze. Hazy orange-tan color with a big, soapy, and steady head. Crisp and refreshing, this is certainly a superb APA. Mild soapy hop tones with some seawater crispness. Medium bodied. No syrup or awkward tones. Clean, but full of flavor. World Class session beer. bvc (1244) - Washington, USA - MAY 15, 2010
12oz bottle, thanks Jon. Pours a hazy darker golden with some lemon tint to it and a perfect uniform slightly off white head. Crisp yet light and balanced nose with cracker, grass, pine, floral and citrus. Somewhat chewy feel with lively carbonation. Very light ’crackery’ malt, light balanced pine and citrus hops with floral undertones. Easy drinking pale. verymerrymonk (413) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 6, 2010
Pour is a clear gold body with a thin lasting head. Grassy hops offset by some caramel sweetness, mild citrus, pineapple, dry ending.

Pours bright golden with a mostly receding wispy off-white head. Notes of pine, citrus, floral resin, and light caramel. Full bodied with light resin and soft carbonation. drowland (9184) - Georgia, USA - APR 29, 2010
4/28/10. 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The pour is golden orange with a hugr fluffy white head and lots of floaties. The aroma is deep earthy hops that border on catty, and the flavor is similar. I’m thinking this is a bit of an old bottle, but can’t find a date because it’s from a singles rack. Bah. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - APR 27, 2010
(cheap) growler fill from Whole Foods- Bowery. This, for me, was the perfect food pairing beer. Sweet caramel, well carbonated, light and sessionable. Slight citrus hops to provide a balance, but not overwhelming. Really helped wash down several different types of food. yinzerbeernut (180) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2010
Pale gold color with a white pillow head and noticeable lacing. A very aromatic flower bouquet on nose with a touch of lightly toasted hop. This is a crisp medium bodied pale ale that has a nice balance and enough sweetness to keep the dry, bitterness in check. A very smooth drinking ale. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2010
Copper colored with a 1 inch white head. Malty nose. All malt taste. I thought pale ales were supposed to hoppy. Well, this one is not so much. Super nutty, sweet, and malty. Go crazy you belgian freaks!
