I’m not going to lie...I was a bit disappointed with this weak Pale Ale from a brewery known for kicking me in the ass with their high gravity / abundantly hopped beers. Pours golden with a thin head, aroma is faint of hops and you can’t really taste the hops. I know this is a Pale Ale as opposed to an IPA so the hop content will go down, but I just thought it was weaker than it could’ve been. I’ll stick to what I like from this great brewery. rader58 (931) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - MAR 3, 2010
Pours a golden color. Aroma of floral. Taste is bitter. Flavor of floral hops. Finish is bitter. Hank1980 (966) - Athens, Georgia, USA - MAR 2, 2010
Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a big white head. Aroma is of light sweet malt, some citrus hops. Taste is sweet but the hops are all pretty light. The hops are citrusy and not all that present. Some other unexpected grain notes are also noticable. Not sure of the age of the bottle but, this one may have been on the shelf too long. Body is medium and the finish is light. Overall an okay brew. Block (3182) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - FEB 28, 2010
A very solid pale ale. Great hops aroma and flavor. Sweet finish. Very sessionable. dalekliz (926) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Bottle. Pours a murky yellow-amber with a crazy big fluffy white head that lingers too long. Sweet aroma, with lemon peel, malt, yeast, and citrus hops. Taste is crisp, of citrus hops, preserved lemons, yeast, and malt. Lingering crisp bitterness that ends watery. Tasty, but I think it’s sat around a bit too long.

Decent Pale Ale. There was nothing very notable here, but it does go down smooth and drinkable. Could be a good session beer. kazooka (58) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - FEB 26, 2010
Light floral aroma. Hazy, light golden color with off-white head. Light bodied, thin, malty sweetness with a tinge of citrus. Lightly carbonated with an abrupt sweet finish. Highly drinkable, albeit thin, and seemingly light on the hops for a pale ale. I was expecting more. dalepryor (305) - Paducah, Kentucky, USA - FEB 19, 2010
pours pale yellow-orange with thin lacing white head, floral hop aromas and a potent hoppy taste with a crisp bite and mild bitter finish, overall drinkable and not offensive in any way. Rynoplasty (700) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - FEB 15, 2010
Pours light orange amber with an off white head. Aroma is citrusy, slightly earthy hop, with a little bit of caramel. Flavor is full of fresh citrus and tropical fruit hop flavor. Good stuff. RKanis (152) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 15, 2010
Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma is slight malt with a hint of citrus hops. Taste is citrus with a mildly bitter hop aftertaste. Mouthfeel is a little on the watery side. Not a bad pale ale but not as hoppy as I like.
