A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. Youll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

Bottle: Another above average from Founders. Not nearly as good as their Harvest Ale, but a good pale ale. Pours with a full head and aroma of hops. Flavor is a little light for a pale ale in my opinion, but not bad. Citris is a little too weak. Good beer.

12oz bottle. Big, off-white head, excellent lacing. Nice influence from the cascade hops, elements of citrus, pepper, orange peel. Packs a bit of a punch at 6.2%. Seems almost like an IPA, but its too smooth in the finish. That said, I definitely like it. Good offering, very good for the style.

Pours a medium cloudy, orange body with a soapy white head. Aroma is lemongrass and black pepper with some mild citrus. The flavor is quite peppery with notes of citrus and a little floral taste. Very dry finish.

Trade with dra19. Pours a soft amber with a huge thick white head. Very profuse head, doesnt make any sense. The aroma is light sweet citrus, lemongrass, very light aroma. The flavor is a bit dry, mandarin orange peel, highly carbonated, Cascades aparent. Light macro taste, very light but distinguishable. Dry finish and a fairly lasting waxy finish.

Trade with dra19. The color was light orange with a lot of carbonation. The head was thick, foamy, frothy, and off-white. The aroma was citrisy and hoppy. The flavor was cascade hops, a waxyness, light citris and floral. The palate was average. The finish was clean.

3 of these bottles I bought were all fizz. Horrid buttery/diactly taste on those. The other 3 were ok. Not bad, but not great. Ill have to get ahold of a fresh sixer...

10-13-07 bottle.
Thick, murky sppearance - lots of sediment. Very foamy head (similar to the consistency of whipped cream) at first. Orange amber color. Smell is very grassy. Decent taste - fairly muted though. Just okay overall for me. I expected more.

Pours a nice foggy gold with a minimal creme head. Nose is mild with a slight citrus tone. Not much to it really. Flavor is bitter hops with a leafy, earthy edge. Feel is a bit thicker on the liquid and the carbonation is decent. Overall a fairly good one here. A bit bitter and lacking a smooth even profile, but nice enough to try.
