A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. Youll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

Bottle. Massive head upon pouring which never really disappeared. Some hops and a dry finnish. Pretty average and that non disappearing head was very irritating.

On tap in many places - including on occasion my own house. Ive had a soft spot for pale ales since I was introduced to craft beer, and this one has been my "Old Faithful" for the past few years. Nice wallop of citrus, plenty of balance, and very drinkable. This makes a great session beer because its just a peaceful, pleasant experience from first aroma to finish, and the ABV is just enough to take me gradually to my happy place without kicking me in the face.

Aroma- big malts and floral hops Appearance- brilliant straw yellow with a tight white head and sexy lacing Taste- big malts and bitter hops, simple but sensual Palate- Thicker for a simple IPA, pretty nice Overall- A great IPA that can be enjoyed year round. This particular bottle wasnt super fresh but it was strong on the hop and malt front nevertheless.

Kickass hoppy session ale. So drinkable yet has a great hop kick. Seriously, ideal as a session beer. Crisp, clean, refreshing. Looks relatively nornal but tastes great. I have huge appreciation for a beer thats got a ton of flavor, is easy to drink, and doesnt get me loaded on 1. My only wish is that it was around my area more.

Location/Date:Bottle on October 12, 2011.

Appearance: Pours a nice orange gold.
Aroma: Aroma is mostly of citrus, light hop.
Taste: A decent amount of bitterness, but a lot of sweet on the end.
Palate:Medium light body, slightly slick, some carbonation with a quick finish.

Summary: A solid example of the style and founders beers are always good, just nothing about this makes me excited.

Bottle pours translucent yellow with nice off-white head. Aroma of flowery hops and citrus. Flavors of pine, lemon-lime, grapefruit, and a hint of something sweet. A nice dry, hoppy finish.

12oz bottle pours a hazy golden/orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma is light citrus and caramel, with some Elmers glue. Taste is very malty, bread, some citrus, slightly floral, with a mild bitterness on the finish. Pretty basic, drinkable.

In short: Dried fruits in a bottle. A bit sugary and not very hoppy. Just ok.
How: Bottle 330ml. Consumed probably fresh a few weeks after purchase
The look: Cloudy glowing orange topped by a very small white head
In long: Nose is very much dried fruits, mainly dried oranges. This really is like smelling a bag of dried orange cubes. Taste has rather soft. Plenty of soft pale bready malts (generic industrial white bread) with a bit of white sugar. A little too much crystal malts for my taste in that type of beer. Then comes the fruity flavors of marmalade, dried oranges, banana peels, some flower petals. Bitterness level is rather low and leaves and after taste of dried fruits. Easy to drink (the least I expect from an APA) but it is not particularly refreshing and just not that interesting g. Not something I want to drink again so Im giving it a 0.1 below my worth drinking again score. A disappointing beer from a brewery I usually like. I suspect I got an old bottle from the store so I should try it again. Modern society could prevent a lot of unnecessary suffering if they forced brewery to put bottling dates on their beer and gave only liquid soap to prison inmates.
