A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. Youll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

I love Founders, but this isnt good. Murky yellow color with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma was corn and cardboard. Flavor was citrusy with moderate level of hoppiness but with an off grainy corn chip like aftertaste. Amazing how I can love most of the beers so much yet hate something as generic as a pale ale.

355ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Fair amount of frothy, off-white head covering a partially cloudy, golden body. The glassware was gradually filled with spotty lacework. Fruity aroma of grapefruits and earth malts. Rounded flavour of succulent hops with hints of grapefruit and orange along with a spicy touch. Dry and smooth hoppy tail. Refreshing (hotel room, Oslo 14.12.2010).

Bottled. The arom has citrus, some grass and some flowers, little caramel. Clear, copper coloured beer with a slight off-white, lasting head. The taste is quite bitter, bit sweet and has citric hops mainly with some flowery and grassy tones. Caramel malty background. Bit harsh. Nice.

355 ml bottle. Golden with small floaties. Very tall white fluffy head that clings to the glass. Spritzy nose with medicinal hops aroma. Yeasty flavours. Cascade hops indeed. Dry papery texture. Modest bitterness. There must be a slight infection in there as the carbonation is way off.

Bottle courtesy of drowland. Clear golden orange color with a white bubbly head. Aroma is hoppy, grain and dry tea leaves. Flavor is dry hops, malts and sticky grain. Fairly straightforward.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2013 Pours beautiful golden and hazy. Aroma of a subdued IPA. Actually taste of a subdued IPA because Founders cant help themselves. Overall, a superb session beer OR something to enjoy all by itself.

Solid session brew. Nothing to write home about in my opinion. Was already wasted at the point when I drank it though. So maybe Im wrong. Go ahead, write home about it if you want.

Appearance: suspended haze with chunks under a fluffy off-white head; pith. Orange and golden amidst the haze. Swirls with blotchy lace.
Nose: grassy and orangey, kiss of sweetness, aroma of flowers blooming, and dryness of orange skins. An overall vibrancy makes her stand out despite her somewhat questionable appearance.
Palate: light to medium body with a very clean flavor profile which carries the flowers from front to middle and to finish, lovingly caressing my tastebuds along the way. Hop leaves. A bit thin, but I can forgive that for now since her flavor compensates for the lack of weight. Grass, orange skins, and a bitterness which lingers long on the back of my tongue. More orange and white grapefruit come out to play, scrubbing my tongue clean just in time for the next quaff. Grapefruit lingers the longest.
Final Thoughts: I was a bit leery considering the initial appearance of this brew, but my worries were without want thankfully. That being said, this has been the least impressive of the at least dozen or so Founders beers my sister has graciously blessed me with.
