Bottle @ home. Soft floral hoparoma with melon and citrus notes. Floral, somewhat oily hopbitter flavor with some tropical fruit. Well balanced. Pleasant and tasty session ale. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - SEP 28, 2010
12oz bottle at the American styles tasting. Clear gold with a small but lasting white head. Lots of planty hop aroma with some grapefruit oil and lots of grass. Grassy hop flavors. Quite phenolic and spicy with a weird spice through the finish and a light malt backbone. Medium light body with lots of hop tannins. Just to much grassy hop-tannin action going on. I’m of the opinion that Sierra already perfected the cascade pale ale, so you’d might as well try attacking the problem from another angle... dunkpigen (379) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 26, 2010
Pours clear orange with a small white creamy head. Aroma is fruity with pear and grapefruit. Flavour is dry hops that has a fruityness of pear and grapefruit. Nice oily mouthfeel and a long dry aftertaste. thewolf (12534) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 26, 2010

Hazy darkish golden with a small, firm, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has peach, apricot, caramel, resiny hops. Nice. Medium carbonation, fine creamy and lightly dry mouthfeel. Aroma is initially a tad sweet, some crisp malts, a hint of caramel. Good piney, apricot hoppiness. Long, lingering, dry finish. Nice and instantly drinkable.
Bottle. Pours a golden honey color. Small white head. Good lacing. Mild hoppy aroma. Mild grassy flavor. Nicely balance bitterness. Very crisp and clean finish. This beer doesn’t really jump out at you, but it has such a nice finish. Not my favorite style, but Founders does it well. teorn88 (7671) - Rimini, ITALY - SEP 25, 2010
12oz bottle. Hazy pale gold color, thin whitish head. Aroma is nice and fairly hoppy and citrusy with some hop resin and floral notes. Taste is crisp and clean with a favorable fruity balance between the bready sweet malts and the dulled citrus of lemon flavors. Medium bodied with good carb. Nice one. Bottle33 cl. bought @ bir&fud bottega. Pours a delightful golden pale yellow, with a lot of foam that create big bubbles and faded very fast. Fantastic aroma: fresh hops with hint of ananas, flowers, citrus, honey and earthy notes. A so great dry hopping!!! Taste is gentle, fizzy and simple, but so balanced among sweet and bitter with malt. A little salty in a generous hoppy and long-lasting finish, That’s a masterpiece. Golden with white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Flavor with hop spices. halfonit (1356) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 19, 2010
Pours a hazy deep golden color. Aroma is of hops, malts, caramel, and some raisin. Flavor is pretty much medium bodied and includes a good amount of malts, grapefruit, definitely cascade hops, grain, and perhaps a little rye. Has a dry hopped finish.
