COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours silky black with a creamy tan head. The nose is sweet with strong chocolate and caramel malt presence. No absence of hops gives Founders’ robust porter the full flavor you deserve and expect. Cozy like velvet. It’s a lover, not a fighter.

Fat @Taphouse Kph. Mörkbrun öl med ett ljusbrunt skum. Doft och smak av mörkare choklad, hasselnötter och lätt rostad malt.

W aromacie mleczna kawa. Odrobina czekolady. Nic specjalnego. W smaku szaleństwo. Gorzkie kakao, czekolada. Dosyć wysoko nasycone.

Lore (2746) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 21, 2017
deep dark brown colour, almost one inch dense brown head; aroma of dark chocolate, burnt plum jam, toffee, some coffee, hints of soy sauce and roasted nuts; taste of dark chocolate, dried plum, heavy roasted, almost burnt sunflower seeds, some unripe fruitiness (maybe apple, or even more likely pear), over-toasted rye bread, hints of syrupy notes...and dark chocolate again! amazing porter with a body, which would be perfectly enough even for an imperial porter!

Robe noire et opaque. Robe beige bien persistante. Arômes fumé, café, chocolat. Goût malté, chocolat et café. Le fumé reste en bouche. Texture crémeuse. La carbonatation est fine et peu abondante. Bon porter.

Dark black pour with great brown head. Nose of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is big on roasted malt and nice bite of spice at the end. Great balance and not too much of any one flavor. Nice texture that leads to another sip.

From bottle (10 mo. old) in porter glass. Pours deep dark brown with tan head and aroma of chocolate and licorice. A bit more rich than most porters, maltiness gives way to bitterness on the palate and the licorice reappears

Bottle shared @Pułapka, Gdańsk

Very nice vanilla and strong coffee aroma. Taste is very roasted, with a coffee bitter finish
