COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours silky black with a creamy tan head. The nose is sweet with strong chocolate and caramel malt presence. No absence of hops gives Founders’ robust porter the full flavor you deserve and expect. Cozy like velvet. It’s a lover, not a fighter.

Inky black/brown body under a slow, thick mocha head. Deep, lush aromas... cocoa, smoky malt, burnt matchsticks, coffee roasts, then more sweet chocolate syrup (enticing to the point where I had to stop sniffing and start drinking). Thick, luscious mouthfeel, "full bodied" in every last sense of the phrase. Flavor blows me away like every other component thus far: Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, char... incredible bittersweet deliciousness. ~~~~~~~ Purchased a few weeks ago in a mix-a-six from Woodman’s in Carpentersville, IL.

Draught. Black with tan head. Looks just like a porter should. Malty Aroma. Fuller bodied with malt and chocolate. ’N bietjie hop in the finish, but not too much.

Excellent. A robust Porter, very interesting for those who, like me, enjoy strong beers.

Excellent porer. Maybe the finest of the genre. Really deeparoma, characteristic roasted malts. Very opaque dark brown, good persistent tanned foam. Overall, a great beer.

12oz bottle. Pours dark brown/black with a creamy tan head. Enticing aromas of coffee, rich chocolate, roasted malt, caramel. The complex flavor doesn’t disappoint with more roasted character - coffee, nuts, chocolate with hops to balance. Creamy body and a lingering, balanced bitter coffee finish. Delicious.

Bosco (324) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2017
Opaque black-brown. Tan head, minimal head and lacing. Another great product from a great brewery. Roasty-toasty, not very complex, caramel, faint rum notes, sweet finish. Bottled on 4/26/17, Consumed on: 7/8/17 12oz bottle gifted from our friend ’Barn’
