Had on tap at Founders. Not much head. Beer looks very nice dark red. Tastes light and good. The aftertaste is sour and fades into raspberry, great aftertaste. Hides the alcohol very well. Good beer fi looking for a light or sour tasting fruit beer. lampeno420 (320) - Zeeland, Michigan, USA - JAN 6, 2008
Damn, i thought i would be the first to have this. Rubaeus scent, with a stronger, hoppy-er flavor. Poured a deep red color with no head. Taste was a potent raspberries and cranberries throughout. No detectable alcohol in it which was great. I vote this be a mainstay in their new building. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 4, 2008
ruby red translucent body woth no head...aroma of tart raspberry and bread...flavor is mostly tart as well, with a touch of sweetness in the finish...pretty basic, and an obvious spin-off of the ambrosia tart (same raspberry extract anyway), just not as tart or harsh ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - JAN 2, 2008
Draft at Founders. Deep, dark red/maroon body with a tiny pink head. The nose is sweet raspberry juice and light caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly tart with lots of raspberry (sweet), some cotton candy and caramel as well as a touch of pithy bitterness. Medium body is sticky with moderate carbonation. Decent.
