COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Bottled - winter seasonal. On tap - year-round.

12oz Bottle. The pour was a murky medium reddish brown with an average (1-2 finger) light cream colored pillowy head that had good retention and excellent sheeting of sticky lacing. The aroma was of a dark bread malt, floral hops and a sweaty yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit), rye and a mild sweet fruity ester. The taste was a malty bitter-sweet with a hint of caramel from the onset, progressing into a bold hoppy citrus bitter with a touch of rye and a mild sweetness at the end. The flavor lasted an average time after the swallow with a slight citrus peel bitterness left lying on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was right between light and medium in body with a dry and slightly oily texture and a medium carbonation. Overall this brewer never seem to disappoint, this was a nice hoppy brew with a slight doughy sweetness and just the right touch of rye...

Draft at J’s. Pours a clear amber with a finger of foam that lingers. Not much nose on this one, maybe some faint berry, malt notes...touch of strawberry. Clean and crisp, light bread notes, some rye in there. Light, peppery finish. Simple but rock solid.

En del chokoladesmag. Stor fyldig smag og en hel del maltet. Fin nydeøl som skal drikkes langsomt.
