COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This bold, imperial brown ale gets its body from a team of malts including Caramel malt for sweetness, flaked barley for dense foam, a bit of Chocolate malt for its deep color and Aromatic and Munich malts to add even more depth. German and Perle hops add a touch of bitterness to balance the malty sweetness. The addition of rich Sumatra coffee takes this perfectly balanced imperial brown ale to a decadent level.

I loved this beer! I drank it, forgot I was drinking an imperial brew, thoroughly enjoyed it, got a little buzz, and then remembered. Seriously, though, this was a great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @Luppolo Station in Rome. Chestnut skin pour with caramel highlights and a creamy dark ivory foam, quite adhesive. Nose: molasses, nutty cream, green coffee beans, tons of roast coffee beans too. Mouth: smoked caramel if you know what I want to mean :-) tons and tons of nuts and hazelnuts. So rich and intensive, not obvious, not sweet (+). Great

Pours a deep brown with a tan head. Dominant coffee flavor. The aroma takes a few minutes to develop, but then reminds the drinker of a fine coffee. The palate is smooth. The finish is still strong with the flavor of coffee. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Medium roast coffee nose, very strong. Clear brown, thick firm tan head, good lace. Coffee swiftly turns to maple syrup, subtle cocoa hints throughout. Medium body, easy carbonation. No ordinary brown ale.
