Bottle thanks to Sean. Poured clear gold with a white head that dissipated down to a film around the edges. Aroma had notes of hops both pine and grass as well as some sweet grains and corn. Flavor was similar, sweet with corn in the beginning and pine and grass towards the finish. Getbetter (1033) - East Palo Alto, California, USA - MAY 16, 2010

Light golden color. Hoppy belgian aroma, very clean. More hoppiness in the flavor, yeasy and very nice. (1242) wavers1 (916) - Notown, California, USA - APR 1, 2010
12 bottle courtesy of badnewsbeers, many thanks! super crisp light gold pour with a creamy heady that skims along throughout, looks like a budweiser in HD! lol! aroma is crispy with a generous amount of hops, but not overwhelming. the taste is not bad at all, nice surprising hop bitterness, floral, plenty of citrus’, with a hint of skunk from the corn. crisp and very refreshing on the palate, has a tiny bit of dryness in the aftertaste from the hops, bit of sweetness from the corn. this is an ubergreat summer session beer for a hot day, wish i could get 6’ers of this locally! minch25 (577) - Medford, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 28, 2010
Hazy bright yellow. A lot more body than the solid gold. A lot more hops. This one was good.

12oz pour at Founders. Hazy banana yellow color. Good lacing. Floral, grass, and citrus hops aroma (that classic pilsener nose - can’t place it). Strong does of grapefruit. Light in body, lively carbonation, dry grassy finish. Well balanced between the sweetness of the malt and the bitterness of the hops. This is a pilsener dressed up like an IPA or it’s a pilsener on steroids. Great! Tmoney99 (14840) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 7, 2010
Draft at Founders brewpub. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable beer.

On tap at Founders. Translucent light yellow body, thin off-white head. Lemony, spicy hops nose. Piny hops body with very light, tangy malts and a bitter finish. This reminds me of the "Xtra Pale Ale" they brewed a couple years ago. Meh. MI2CA (1340) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - FEB 13, 2010
Growler from the brewery - Aroma of skunky hops, straw and pale malts. Flavor matches with a little creamed corn thrown in for good measure. Palate is sticky. A tasty brew. Blaze312 (132) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - NOV 2, 2009
On tap at founders. Not a bad beer. I got this thinking it would be very similar to solid gold. I was way wrong, the hops shine through so much more in this one.
