On tap at Founders. The pour is a reddish brown (more ruby or garnet than actual brown) with a nice light tan head and some great lacing present. The aroma is beautifully dominated by coffee. There is a great nuttiness and earthiness to it, but the coffee definitely dominates here. On the back end there is a light malt to it. The flavor is bursting with great things. The coffee is strong, but not overbearing. The nuttiness and earthiness jump in the back seat, but remain solid drivers. The mouth feel is surprisingly thick and creamy. Velvety carbonation really helps as well. The aftertaste is a little quick dissipating, but great and coffee bitter ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is pretty clean amber brown with short lived tan head. Tons of coffee in the aroma (resembles cut bell peppers....). Some toasted grain. Aroma dominated by somewhat singular coffee note but the flavor is very nice. Complex coffee character and toasted malt with some caramel notes.

Really enjoyed this coffee beer. Dark brown. Coffee, nutty aroma. Vanilla and big malts additionally in the taste. Just super pleasant coffee beer all around.

Pours brown with off white head and no lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and nuts. Taste is the same with tons of malts, sweer caramel, and booze.

On tap at Founders pours a dark cola brown with a small khaki head. Aroma is sweet and nutty with powerful coffee. Taste of smooth cocoa, caramel, and nuts, light hops and roasted coffee on the finish. Bigger fan of normal frangelic, but this nice.

In a pint glass light tan head. Dark red brown color semi opaque. Nose is lightly roasted malts and clean coffee. Lower carbonation smooth body, Smooth clean coffee from start to finish, almost iced coffee like, finish has light notes of bittering hops and a hint of fruit, malt back of caramel.

Aroma is coffee, chocolate, nutty. Appearance is dark brown, light tan head. Taste is wonderful, perfect blend of coffee, chocolate, malt, slight booziness. Mouthfeel is perfect, soft carbonation, thick, lovely. Overall, oh my, this is wonderful.
