From notes. On draft at Founders for the 20th Anniversary Party on October 14. The pour is a nice coppery gold with a thicker light tan head and a good thick, soapy lace left behind. The aroma is actually a little sweet. The hops aren’t dank at all, and they don’t really contain the typical weed smell that you would expect from the namesake. There is a little bit of a growing malt and that sweetness on the finish. The flavor is more in line with the aroma. This is surprisingly sweet. The malts come through and the hops don’t leave a bitter or dank resinous finish. The mouth feel is lighter medium bodied with a bright carbonation and a lingering cleanliness on the finish. I wish this was more dank or weed-forward. Not too bad though. 6 4 6 4 14

Draft. Hazy golden body with a frothy white head, diminishing. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, toasted grain, tangerine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Citrus, grapefruit and light pine taste. Clean, comfortable and quaffable. But not memorable.

Draft to taster at the brewpub. Looks solid; a transparent gold with thin white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells biscuity with a bit of hops and sweetness in the background. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A touch of bitterness that is neither good nor bad. Not bad, but underwhelming.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a orangish yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is very strongly of dank, juicy hops, pine, herbal hops. Flavor is similar. Quite bitter with mild earthy and malt tones to help the balance. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, finishes dry and hoppy. Quite enjoyable in that regard. Overall, nice one.

Hazy golden pour ... little lacing with a thin white head .... sweet malty aroma and some light floral hop ... taste of sweet malts and a mellow hop taste with a bitter dry finish ... the summit hops give it a good pale ale taste with a dry finish... nothing special here but sessionable .... says its only available at the brewery and blue dog tavern chalfont pa found that interesting .... its considered an apa

Draft at Founders brewpub. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate tart citrus hop and sweeet malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Another good drinkable beer.
