Bottle. Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Aroma of vegetables. Taste is bitter corn. Fech (291) - Parsippany, New Jersey, USA - AUG 1, 2013
Tasted like a slightly more pale rolling rock from the old days. Light crisp light foamy head. cheap (5960) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 22, 2013
My bottle ws brewed over at the old rolling rock plant., right down the road. Difficult from the start. Twist off bottle pours dark yellow. Thin white head. This is probably more like a premium lager. Old alarming lager aroma. Looks pretty good now that it settled. Ooooooo, quite strong impressions initially. I was hoping for something a little better behaved. Slight wierd tartness at least gives it an interest. Finish is poorly made old cheap ice lager. I really want to like this but it reminds me of their defender series of beers. Just yur run of the mill rude cheap beer. Difficult metallic thing going on that is quite hard to get used to. Add this to another of those city brewing rude beers. They have plenty IMHO. jsmerig (1656) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Got this one because it was cheap. Pours a brownish amber color with a light white head. Aroma is malty. taste is malty sweet with a light hop flavor. Well-balanced. Very much like an Octoberfest Lager. If I were bankrupt, I might buy a case of this (provided I scraped together enough money). Otherwise I might have one at a bar if it was the only non-massed produced corn beer. bth122 (1604) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Bottle while down in florida. Label says made in Latrobe, PA. Poured a dark honey color with one finger head. Light aroma of caramel, grains, musk. Light sweetness. Light bread notes. A bit of caramel notes. Hey at least this supports the troops.

Tastes like cheap american lager. A bitter budweiser, perhaps. Not good, glad it was free. r464 (2362) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Medium amber with an off-white head. Malty, sweet, light caramel and nut flavors leading to a finish that has a fruity sourness. Not a standout. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Bottled. Poured clear, medium orange with a short, tight-bubbled off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet honey and corn with light, artificially-sweetened fruity accents.. very adjuncty. The flavor found similar stuff.. honey, corn, and pale malts at the core with tart fruit skins and light, odd sourness around.. finished tangy with more skins and red rice. Light-bodied and a bit sharp on the palate.. tacky at times.. not an enjoyable drink. Shag (3027) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - DEC 9, 2012
A dark golden to amber color with a white head. The aroma contains some corn and caramel, odd. The flavor is very light but not offensive with a slight dark malt presence. Well it beats the usual BMC suspects if nothing else *Shrug* ChainGangGuy (4908) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - OCT 27, 2012
12 ounce bottle - $1.29 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a nearly clear, amber-tan body with a tallish, but short-lived, off-white head.
Smell: Some caramel and toasty barley hints are a distant second to the discordant notes of metal, half-rotted corn, and---this smells like a malt liquor!
Taste: Faint caramel over malted barley grains, moderately sweet, but right from the get-go there’s this icky quality. Vegetal, kinda tangy, and with notes of corn and metal shavings. Some bitterness. Good grief, this is awful. On the label, even George Washington is left scratching his chin, wondering how they managed to f this one up so badly.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Had low hopes for this. Then, pouring it it looked perhaps passable. Then, after one foul sniff, the crapiness was quickly confirmed. Drain pour.
