Light golden with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is tangerine, straw, pale malt, grain, trace of hops.
Taste comprises pale malts, straw, faint citric, light bread.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok for a pale lager. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Straw yellow pour with light white head. Aroma is light sour malt and corn. Flavor is light malt and a sour start and a semi sweet finish. Light perfumy hops present. I will not say the hop presence is a bitter but there is something there. A light bodied beer with aggressive carbonation. ok Leighton (21296) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2015

Yes an ordinary light. Actually it's not even as great as that. It's cheap and proceeds go to help families of vets.

Drank directly from a twist off bottle made in Latrobe. A little better than the regular version. Some detectable tartness in the background but just barely. Does have some of that old lager feel to it, you know, like a one year old case of cheap beer. Melanie shure has a nak for picking patriotic names, think defenders, heheh. Straw colored liquid with a tall, slowly dissipating off-white head. Aromas of grains, mild corn and hints of herbal hops. Light sweet malt flavors. Quite sweet, but a acidic balance. Bitterness takes a long time to enter. Not terrible, just light. I guess that is what they are saying it is. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 4, 2015
Straw color with thin, lasting head and lacing. Looks and tastes slightly better than a typical macro lager. Subtle floral hops with hay/wheat flavor. Easy drinking, crisp, but nothing special. nearbeer (5424) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 1, 2012
