12oz bottle from Skyview, thanks! Slightly hazed amber with a dissipating off-white head. Aroma of heavy caramel, sweet malt and a spot of grains. Taste of caramel, pale malts, some corn and a pretty clean finish. A tad boring but held okay considering its age. JPDIPSO (6262) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAY 9, 2008
Amber color with a somewhat fluffy off-white head.Mild grainy aromas with hints of fresh cut flowers and mild corn. Flavors of light caramel, mild toasted malt, bits of grain and corn and a backdrop of light fruit. Dry malt finish with only a hit of bitterness. Nice historical brew. 1FastSTi (3361) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 6, 2008
Thanks Skyview. The beer pours to a thin pale amber body with a thin white head. The aroma is cascade hops. The flavor is extremely toasty with cascade hops. Average palate with a medium light body. I thought it was decent. MIBRomeo (2570) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2007

Bottle. A amber beer with a white head. Light caramel malt, hop aroma and a light sweet caramel malt, floral hop taste. Medium body with a light dry finish. Ungstrup (38246) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2007
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of spices as well as a light dusty hop note. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops as well as light notes of fruit. The alcohol burns slightly in the throat. Somewhat boring. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2007
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly caramellish aroma with a whiff of flowers. Light in body again a lightly sweet touch of caramel and a floral edge. Almost no bitterness. 171107 Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 31, 2007
Thanks to Skyview for the bottle! Poured a bright sunburst golden with a short cap of white head and streams of rising carbonation. Aroma picked up sweet grainy notes and corn with perhaps some floral accents. Flavor found caramel and sweet corn at the base with a mild dusting of floral bitterness surrounding.. some corn syrup sticking around through the finish. Very clean and crisp on the palate and lighter-bodied. This was a decent-drinking lager, but the story was certainly more interesting. SHANER4 (507) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 24, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2008 I travel to Fountain City once a summer with my girlfriend for her family reunion.
The best thing about the whole trip is the great beer they serve at The Monarch. It’s hard to describe how good this beer is. Great aroma and taste.I have only had it on tap and it is excellent. I am not sure I am rating the correct brew because they had summer ale sticker on tapper with Fountain Brew.
