Our porter is brewed in the traditional English style. It has a deep brown color and a creamy tan head. The mouth feel is highlighted with soft notes of chocolate and slight undertones of roasted coffee. Hop bitterness is nicely balanced with the malt and hop aroma being very low, typical of the English style.

Pours dark brown with a fleeting tan head. Roasted grain, coffee, chocolate, and toffee notes. Finishes sweet. Medium body and carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel.

Nice porter with roasted notes and some chocolate that comes out as ever-so-slightly sweet, which balances well with the roast. Easy drinking beer, nice local go-to.

12oz bottle from notes. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a small off white head.  Good chocolate aroma, coffee. Light bitter, moderate sweet. Smooth crisp lighter carbonation, lightly dry finish. Lighter to medium body. Slightly thin body, but it’s refreshing and easy drinking, aroma is very enjoyable.

From sampler flight at the brewery on March 26, 2016. Dark amber/brown color, nice firm coffee nose, nice flavor of roasted malt and coffee. Not the biggest porter you’ll ever encounter but pretty good.

Bottle... Pours hazy and dark brown with a huge, creamy, lightly tanned head. Fantastic retention. The aroma features chocolate crème with light notes of espresso and caramel. Medium-bodied with zippy carbonation. The flavor is toasty, roasty and well-balanced. Nice, lingering, mocha finish. Bottle courtesy of BBB63!

Aroma is dark malts, coffee and mild nuttiness. The flavor is dark malts, coffee, light chocolate and a thick/acidic finish.

On tap at the Pint Room. Dark brown pour with a tan head. Chocolate, coffee and dark roasted malt smokiness in the taste and aroma. Nice porter.

bottle. Pretty average as porters go - this one definitely on the mild side. Decent

stoutgap (64) - Indiana, USA - JUN 24, 2015
Bottle to glass, cloudy dark amber with a non existent head and no lacing. Light coffee and roast aroma. Very light and thin body for a porter, lively carbonation and a extended bitter finish.
