COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beer dedicated to hop heads and the brewers favorite. An aggressively hopped American pale ale that is fairly light in color with a noticeable citrus aroma due to late hop additions. The slight bitter finish will keep the hop heads coming back.

It gets an overall 14/20, which is pretty much my go-to rating for a standard hoppy pale ale that doesn’t have anything special about it. It’s good, but there are a lot of very similar brews available for cheaper than $10 for 6, but I still wanted to try it because Fountain Square’s amber and porter were so good.

Rated on 9-07-2016 at Deer Park Irish Pub, Fort Wayne, IN. The appearance of this draft beer when served is a very small beige head that is fully lasting, hazy amber body, very little carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, light pine hops and caramel malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, light citrus hops, lightly bready, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is smooth with soft carbonation. This beer is light-medium bodied. This is drinkable and has a light-mild bitter aftertaste. A so-so APA that has nothing very outstanding about it.

Sampled at HopCat Indy. Pours a dark golden/light amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, light caramel, hay, some earthy notes, pretty bland pale.

Bottle from friends. Pleasant enough. Kind of citrusy and sharp. Nothing special though. A bit spritzy in the body.

From sampler flight at the brewery on March 26, 2016. Medium gold color, aroma that’s mostly sweet citrus, taste adds hops to the citrus. Flavors could be better integrated but not a bad brew.

355ml bottle. Golden pour, light haze. Instantly malty aroma, 90s pale ale. Flavor is dougy, toasted caramel, malty, why?

Light orange and clear pour. White head. Sticky head. Easy drinker. Lemon and hops. A little fruity. Had this as part of a flight at Fountain Square brewer in Indianapolis.

Draft - Caramel and sweet hops, candy floss. Clear gold with a decent white head. Caramel and herbal and not particularly pleasant hops.

Finhead (1761) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Cloudy brownish Orange pour with a white head. The aroma has good citrus notes with some pine. It has a medium body with oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a long, dry finish.
