Fountain Square already impressed me with a very good porter, and now here’s this top-notch amber. The hops are a little strong but still there is plenty of malt backing it up and it comes out smooth. Also, I give it points for actually being amber and not a weird red. Moving on to the next FS brew on the shelf next trip to the liquor store!
Drjohnrock (805) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 2, 2016
From sampler flight at the brewery on March 26, 2016. Fairly dark amber/orange hue, sweet malty nose with a bit more heft than a lot of other beers of this style, slippery texture, sweet flavor with unpleasant bitter finish. Not as good as the aroma advertised. Travlr (25185) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 18, 2015
Draft at the source. Clear amber color, white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is plain caramel. Brentv (674) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 9, 2015
From bottle. Pours a hazy copper with a small off-white head. Citrus aroma. Taste of citrus and caramel. Nice medium mouthfeel. Mildly bitter finish. kaser (6314) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 17, 2015
Dark reddish color with white head. Malty and carmel flavor with a very bitter aftertaste. Average at best. Had this as part of a flight at Fountain Square brewer in Indianapolis.

Draft - Caramel and nice sweetness. Copper and hazy with rich white head. Caramel and a nice bitterness that finishes with pale malts. Itzjerm (2947) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - JUN 1, 2014
An average brew from fountain square. In general not impressed by their brews. Much better options exist. However nothing is below average either. hotstuff (5173) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAY 21, 2014
Backlog rating. This beer pours a small ivory head with a long retention, gold body and very little lacing. The aroma is caramel malt and sweet. The flavor is caramel malt and light hops. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is a session beer but it does not have much character to it. Just easy drinking. b3shine (8925) - Indiana, USA - FEB 11, 2014
Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a slightly hazy amber with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells sweet and malty with notes of caramel. Tastes like it smells with some hops as well. Average on the palate. Not bad. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 28, 2014
tap at the brewery on Sep. 1, 2013 - Pours light amber-orange and has a lightly toasted caramel malt aroma. It’s sweet with caramel and some mild hops bitterness. This light bodied brew has a mildly bitter, toasty finish. It’s okay.
