FROM NOTES: July 20, ’12
Poured from a bottle into a tasting glass.
A: Faint grainy notes.
A: Pours a light golden yellow, with a thin layer of head.
T: Initially it’s slightly spicy, slight citrus followed by malt with a bitter, drying finish.
P: More full than I associate with a Pilsner but still very clean. Maybe not as crisp as I would expect, but could be due to the ABV.
O: I’m not a huge fan of pilsners, but this one is a fine example. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 27, 2013
12oz bottle. Clear golden yellow color. Minimal ring of white head. Couple dots of lace. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Medium body. Lightly dry finish. SMooth, easy drinking, and as refreshing as I hoped (was craving a pilsener). Good bready aroma, maybe a light pepper, but not much else to it. Moderate to stronger bitter taste, more than average for a pils but I’m digging it. Very enjoyable pilsener. Jethro6191 (508) - Indiana, USA - SEP 20, 2013
On tap. Pours gold with a thin wispy white head. Clean malt aroma with some floral notes. Crisp clean malt flavor with some subtle hop bitterness. Dry finish with a light body. Nice refreshing pilsner. Hartung32 (252) - Indiana, USA - AUG 29, 2013
Really tasty; spot-on pilsner. I'll definitely revisit this beer. Has to be a top 5 pilsner for me(not my favorite style; sample size small)

Draft to taster. Looks decent; light though, even for a pils. A completely transparent light gold with thin white lacing. Smells of dough and pilsener malt with a mild bitter hop profile. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Lacks a pilsener snap, but okay.

Aroma:White bread, slight yeast
Appearance: Straw with foamy white head
Taste: White bread, honey
Palate: Slightly sweet, light mouthfeel. Smooth, non-bitter finish. A tinge of sweetness.
Overall: Pleasant pilsener, very drinkable. No unpleasant undertones.
Pours pale gold. Head clings to glass in a skirt but fades to a ring. Nose is immediately sweet and light maltiness and some buttery diacetyl present. Flavor is sweet malts with a richness enhanced with some sweet buttery stuff going on. Not infected but just some diacetyl. allfreej (556) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Bottled, poured into a pilsner glass.
Dark straw pour with a fine white head. Fair lacing.
Medium mouthfeel, strong carbonation.
Aroma is bready malt with a citrusy hop background.
Flavor is bready malt, citrusy lemony hop flavor. Assertively bitter finish without astringency. No DMS, no diacetyl.
Very refreshing. A great example of a Bohemian pilsner. Nice balance of hops and malt.

Pours mostly clear but for fine suspended particulate, straw-golden with a thickish eggshell head that settles to a thick ring and leaves plenty of hanging clumpy lace. Nose of fresh bready malt, doughy yeast, and light spicy hops. Fairly sweet with a little more bitterness. Softer carb, medium bodied, round, with a fairly lengthy crisp bitter finish. A nice pilsner, imminently drinkable, solid flavor, well put together. shrubber85 (11460) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Bottle. Barley malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with large head. Lightly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter herbal/dry grass flavor. Not bad.
