COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A crisp IPA with a hop forward nose that leads to an abundance of hop flavor on the pallate. I-77 will intrigue the hop lover who knows a quality beer and isn’t afraid to challenge themselves with the bold flavors of Warrior, Chinook, Williamette, and Cascade hops.

On tap at midwood smokehouse Charlotte nc. I77 pours a medium copper with a decent head of small bubbles. Good hop presence on nose with woody aspects. Taste is strong hop hit with good underlying bitters and broadness of texture from malt. Body is lively. Finish is tacky with good bitters around the sides of the mouth. Decent average ipa.

On tap. I agree with most comments, ok ipa but nothing to get excited about. Still enjoyable on a snowy day.

growler. Light straw minimal head. Light nose too of skunky hops. Taste is off & pale @ best. Moving on.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2012
Location: Draft @ Dillinger’s Tap Room, 12/9/12

Aroma: The nose is a little resiny, with some pine, and some butterscotch notes
Appearance: Pours a caramel-orange color, with a fairly lacy, off-white colored head
Flavor: The taste is fairly malty and a touch off, with some butterscotch, caramel, and citrus hops too
Palate: There’s something imperfect about the palate, though it has an alright body and mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This is not a great one. I guess it drank OK, but it just felt a little off, and nothing about it really worked all that well. It wasn’t terrible, but it was perfectly mediocre.

Draft at six pence pub. Pours orange with a thin white head. Not much on the nose. Tastes like butterscotch. Not getting much hop anything. Bleh! I need mouthwash.

Pours deep clear amber into a shaker. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Slightly sour malt and resin aromas. Crisp with sour malt upfront turning to mild resin in the lasting finish.
