Good stout this one, nice creamy mouthfeel with the alcohol evident but under control. Reasonably complex flavours layered under a fairly rich toasty chocolate aroma. My pick of the local beers on tap at the cow festival
Dark with whitish foam (nitro). Aroma is a lovely smoked quality with a rich malt boost; some chocolate and coffee mocha-ness. Taste is the same with the smokiness more prevalent. Nice balance of flavours and a pretty tasty stout. mkel07 (5963) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 22, 2014
On tap @ Scratch Bar 220714. The smoke is subtle but it is in there. Deep dark black with good lacing on the glass. The finish is long and Smokey but not too harsh.Oakes (17668) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 1, 2014

On tap at The Spotted Cow. An easy to drink imperial stout which was surprising given the high alcohol content. Subtle hints of bourbon in the nose and the aroma.
Dark brown, thin light brown head. ery nutty aroma, just a light roast. Taste has some rich roast/sweet figgy impy stuff, maybe somewhat lacking in refinement. A bit fudgey late, but it drinks with a fairly big body.
