12 oz. Brown-chocolate with a small film of bubbles. Aroma is milk chocolate and toasted nut. Flavor is chocolate, soy sauce, lightly scorched popcorn and caramel. Light-medium body is fairly balanced, but way too frothy with high carbonation. rondphoto (4491) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - AUG 25, 2013
Opaque dark ruby brown with a persistent 1 finger head and streamers of lace. Taste is mild toasted malt that adds little through an easygoing palate, drifting to a mild very slightly bitter finish. Not a keeper. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - AUG 17, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2013 Black pour. Slim tan head. Little lacing. Creamy vanilla and coffee aroma. Taste is the same with a hint if cocoa. Not bad.

12oz bottle in an English pint. Pours dark brown with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted and light chocolate malts, some dough, and a light bitterness. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not bad but forgettable.

Low-priced, undated 12 oz bottle in a snifter.
A: Deep brown, nearly black in the glass, with a modest tan head that has weak retention. Moderate lacing.
S: Pleasing aroma of dark roasted and sweet caramel malts; more of the latter than expected for a stout. Hints of molasses and milk chocolate.
T: Good flavor, but sweet like a milk stout and lacking in strength. Very mild aftertaste.
M: Smooth; light-medium body; slightly astringent and prickly despite low-medium carbonation.
O: Not bad, especially for the price. Although leaning to the sweet side for style, this is overall a decently balanced brew. Timid flavor and poor mouthfeel are the main weaknesses. BREWMUSKCLES (2731) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 30, 2013
medium in body with a prominent malt syrup flavor adequate enough and an initially pronounced roasted character infused with caramel and moderately sweet. mellows to bubble gum where it becomes Guiness with a bit less body. Good roasted malt aroma remains though. black beer with white head. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - APR 13, 2013
Bottle from Total Wine in Boca Raton. American pint glass. Pours a dark brown with very light head that disappeared very quickly. It was off-white. No lacing. Aroma is mild with hints of chocolate and roasted malts. Also a kind of funky hops smell. Taste was extreme mediocre. Very watery. Chocolate, bitter dark chocolate, hint of vanilla, roasted malts. Mouth was little carbonated and dry. Yuck. Not my type of stout. DavidWoodruff (630) - Windsor, California, USA - APR 2, 2013
Appearance: Dark Brown, no head.
Aroma: Chocolate Fudge.
Flavor: Some mocha notes with a hint of licorice.
Palate: Thin and somewhat watery.
Overall: unimpressive Ernest (7792) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Head is initially small, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark brown to black.
Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, chocolate/cocoa, roasted grain), with light notes of gum and grape jelly.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
Not nearly as bad as the IPA and winter beer...it’s really boring and simple and kinda clunky (kinda weird grape chewing gum odor), but it is drinkable so that’s a big step up from the other two.
