Bottle: Drank it in the summer maybe that’s why I didn’t like it..... nuh it’s just not good. radagast83 (8069) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - JUN 7, 2012
12 oz bottle. Dark copper color with a thin head. Aroma is toasted malts, brown sugar, toffee, spice notes. Flavor was just the same. Pretty sweet, slightly artificial tasting but decent enough I suppose, especially for the price point. Suttree (6392) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Brownish copper, huge white head. Smells toasty, woody, and lightly spicy. Flavor is dark bread, toast some spicy notes, some woody notes, some earthy notes. Not horrible, not great... Ernest (7695) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 28, 2012
Head is initially small, frothy, off white, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark amber.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel), with notes of allspice, gum, green beans, plastic, bile.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
I’m not really a big fan of the vegetable, plastic, and vomit spicing.
