Pours amber with medium white head that fades quick. Aroma is caramel malts and corn. Taste is sweet and spicy up front...and then it hits you when you swallow...cheese. Starts not bad, finishes terrible. nick76 (4402) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 1, 2012
The aroma is pretty simple with some desirable elements of spice and caramel malt but also some paper and adjuncts. The appearnace is amber with a thin head. The taste is like the aroma with a nice bread like finish. The palate is average. Overall a drinkable beer but it seems cheap. PorterPounder (8275) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Orlando, Fl - Whole Foods - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour - little to no head. Neutral aroma - hint of toffee if you try really hard. Flavor is very mellow, some hints of muddled spiciness. Perhaps a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon. Just a touch of citrus bitterness. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Don’t bother writing home about this one - just keep it to yourself. Bottle- Pours a dark copper color with a decent head and some lacing. Mild aroma of malt, cinnamon, dark fruit and bit of spice. Flavor is quite mild also. Some cinnamon, caramel and bit of spice. Mild bitterness with a clean finish. fairly medium body, decent balance. Fairly bland beer. Not a beer I would go out of my way for. Part of a 6-pack mixer. Liked the label.

Has a sweet grassy malt aroma. Looks okay. Definitely in that heavier Christmas-spice style. An okay beer that is a bit sweet and chewy. Just eh.

12 oz. Clear deep copper with a lasting meringue of foam. Aroma is old grain, sour apple, and dry grass. Taste is sour corn, canned dark cherry, dusty floor-swept grain, and dry grass. Light-medium body is smoothly carbonated and well balanced. Danger Will Robinson! Aquilo (658) - Berkeley, California, USA - DEC 19, 2011
This is the second drain pour of the day. I’m just glad that I bought singles, and not full six packs. Dark copper brown color with no head. Smells like brown sugar, spice and farts. Flavor is nonexistent, but then I got a horrible moldy flavor in the finish. I suspect something bad happened in the fermentation, and they just went ahead and bottled it anyway. durhambeer (2585) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - DEC 19, 2011
Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a pretty bright clear ruby brown with a thin, bubbly beige head. Nose of spice and boring caramel malts. Cinnamon and orange peel. Sweet and blah. fluffy (2461) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - NOV 30, 2011
aroma was mildly hoppy and antiseptic. sunset brown with a sticky fine bubble head. flavor is a little citrusy with some toffee backnotes. finish is surprisingly thin for a winter beer. was ok. easy to session of you are going that route. very cool label to boot. bhensonb (15745) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 15, 2011
Bottle from Whole Food in Folsom, CA. Pours dark copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma is roast malt, nutmeg and vanilla. Near med body. Flavor is all the xmas spices claimed, and the bite might be zest. There’s a lot of flavor complexity in this beer, and it’s good for the season.
