"A decent winter warmer from this Novato based company being brewed out of Rochester, NY. Dark amber brown...aroma and flavor leaning towards sweet malt with some citrusy hops and spices as well. Average beer, but hits the spot." Tmoney99 (14747) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 2014
Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Soft spice and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet spice flavor with a medium spice sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer. Chudwick (3272) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JUN 13, 2014
12oz bottle into shaker - nose is caramel and nutmeg. Ordered this real hastily and I regret it. Super sweet and potpourri. For $2 I can’t complain. Watching the World Cup and ticking a new place as well as a new beer. Would have liked the orange zest but not to be found. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - APR 6, 2013
Bottle in South Florida. American pint glass. White head disappears quickly. No lacing. Aroma is light with spices and malts. Smooth mouth feel with a malty taste. Spices are light, but present. Kind of a weird aftertaste and overall it falls flat. I didn’t get any of the orange "zest". geologyguy (1629) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - JAN 19, 2013

You can definitely taste the spices. But that is about it. Not very bitter. Not very smooth. RSRIZZO (2009) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 15, 2013
12oz bottle courtesy of Headbanger. Color is a bright golden brown with light carbonation and a thin head. Aroma is a sweet candy sugar scent. It has a lighter body with a thin crisp mouth feel. Flavor light and sweet, I get a hint of the nutmeg with a feel that the other spices are trying to come out but just can’t get there. in the after taste the orange seems to show giving a faint pepper note. Overall its a bit weak. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - JAN 15, 2013
12oz bottle. Copper color, thin white ring. Aroma of old chocolate. Moldy oranges. Flavor of thin toasted malt. Not much spice. Forgetable. (3582) Headbanger (4009) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JAN 4, 2013
12oz bottle 1/4/13 (Whole Foods-Naperville)-42° in Lager Glass-Pours a clear light brown with a small off white head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, and toffee. Taste of the same with spices coming thru on the back end. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad but was expecting more spices per the description.
