Our Hop Knot IPA is made only from American malt and lots of American hops, which produce a big, broad-shouldered, hoppy beer backed up by a character as warm as, well, Mom and apple pie Hop Knot IPA get its peculiar name from the weaving of four different hops added at four separate times during the brewing process. Including our cavernous hop-back, which gets so stuffed with whole leaf hops that we feel genuine guilt for its excess. Hop Knot is an ale that is to be enjoyed with friends, spicy food or any time you need a good hop fix without the harsh bitterness. We hope you enjoy this pioneering beer made in the bold spirit of Americans everywhere.

On tap at ZTejas and I think I had a 12 oz can at the Phoenix airport too. Golden amber appearance with a sticky white head. Herbal hops, floral notes, light citrus and a touch of pine. Medium body, pretty clean and crisp.

Can. The look is mostly clear, golden bright colored, and has a white head. The smell is nice, fruity, crisp, peach, apricot, really good. The taste is hops, grass, resin, pine, and good.

Tap at some Mexican place in Tempe

Rather light-colored pour, hazy yellow-tan, nice head. Wow, this is a pleasant surprise for a beer I knew nothing about. Really enjoyable leafy hop aroma with tropical fruit and some citrus. Flavor is richly hopped but never bitter-oily. Really good stuff.

Had on tap at brewery in Tempe. Really big hop aroma from this golden fairly clear breer. Really nice biscut and sparce nutty characteristic. The hops dominate which was very ennjoyable. Great Hoppy IPA

Perfect ipa. Everything a good ipa provides: cool refreshing taste, lightly bitter yet clean aftertaste, and plenty of alcohol.

Draft at dinner. Absolutely solid in all respects. Bright orange, citrus nose, and citrus hop with a good malt backbone. Finishes clean and dry. Very well made.

From can. Pours a hazy yellow with a medium white head and some lacing. Aroma is citrus. Taste is almost dry, citrus, some maltiness, and light grapefruit bitterness. Dry light bitter finish. Nice.

Can in Sedona. Aroma of citrus and apricot. Fresh grapefruit hop flavor. Light and drinkable. Not as bad as some of the other Arizona IPAs sampled on this trip.

This is one of the better Arizona IPAs that I have had. It is a relatively clear orange color w/ a small and fine-bubbled head and little patches of lace. Its nose is mostly lavender and a vague citrus smell that becomes more like mandarin orange once tasted due to a bit of sweetness. This is a juicy and full bodied brew that is almost too heavy but saved by firm carbonation. It finishes w/ a bit of citrus rind bitterness and a lingering floral note. This isnt quite vibrant enough to be world class but Id definitely but it from time to time if it was local to me.
