Aroma is malty and sweet, very clear pour with minimal head and good lacing. Taste is very comfortable, not too sweet but the right amount of under attenuation expected. Very drinkable as a table beer. BrownALEx (459) - Portland, Michigan, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Nothing much to write about here. This beer is so bland my brain can’t decipher the muddled flavors. Below average in every category. Syzzer (647) - Oregon, USA - OCT 29, 2016
Poured from 12 oz can with brother Bryan, great carmel flavor. Low carbonation as expected. Light clear sepia. Smooth, solid rye flavor with not the metallic or that some Scottish ales have. 9.0 bd, 8.5 bry handsomejn (77) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 9, 2016
Sweet. Flat. Boring. Nice caramel smell and pretty copper color is all this beer has going for it. 6% is not enough to lift a kilt Zymurgeist2 (2349) - Redwood City, California, USA - AUG 18, 2016
Four Peaks at PHX. Mild malt aroma. Taste is cereal and grainy. Not much caramel. Clear copper.

On tap at Four Peaks in Tempe, pours a clear pale copper with a small white head. Aroma is very subdued, not bringing out much other than feint bready malt. Flavour is much the same, just bready malt and maybe a touch of toasted dry caramel, but that’s a stretch. Weak and boring. Meh. Cybercat (6046) - Georgia, USA - JUL 12, 2016
Pours dark, bubbly copper with a thick but effervescent buff head. Wimpy aroma offers toasted malt riding a smoky hint. Bolder flavor delivers more malt, and adds a caramel note, though the smoky character remains shy. Mouthfeel features average body and fizz, and a bit of woody hops in the finish. Not outstanding, but enjoyable. M15ter (60) - - JUN 15, 2016
Brown Amber. Light white head.
Strawberry vanilla cherry scents.
Medium sweet sour and bitterness.
Honey, vinegar, cherry flavors.

Draft sample at the source from notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel, toasted malts, a mild smoked character, some light fruit, mouthfeel was a bit thin, just ok. BrewBoxer (2657) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 15, 2016
Draft at Alice Cooperstown while visiting: pours a dark Amber color. Malty taste: easy drinking not as boozy as you'd expect
